比如我的学校（choate rosemary hall）就有过国际学生那finical aid或者scholarship的先例。但是大多数学校给non-us applicants的budget很有限，所以还是比较难申请到的。

理论上是基本都可以申请的，但事实上近两年国内去留学的人数暴增，有很多既有出色的成绩和能力的，又有家庭雄厚财力的，加之美国08年后开始的经济危机，所以国际生申请FA难于上青天。前两年类似CHAOTE、CRANBROOK还都有这样的先例，去年开始就没有听说了，甚至在申请中要是申请了FA就变成了减分的因素，原本可以录取的都会变成等待或者拒绝。
