Salem is more south and so it is not as cold as the north east. When you get to the school, you take a look at what the students have, especially American students, since they are more familiar with the typoe of clothing your daughter will need when she is there. -

我女儿当年也是春季入学的,学校里面有暖气,所以孩子从来就是一件短袖加一件外套,棉毛衫裤是不用带了。不要带很多衣服和鞋子过去,一个是那边买不贵,还有一个是每礼拜学校都会送去超市或者商城,很方便,最主要我认为她们出去购物吃东西是一种调剂,不要剥夺了这个权利。美国是110V电压的,生活电器就不要带了,沃尔玛买。学校提供床和床垫,床上用品要自己带;还提供一张写字台一把椅子,几个大抽屉的衣柜和一个衣帽间,其他的就要自己买了。但美国都便宜而且质量不差,可以带点自己喜欢吃的小吃,SALEM去亚洲超市不太方便,但很多也可以上华人村网购。我们现在是好像越来越没东东好带了。
